When Gia Montgomery's boyfriend, Bradley, dumps her in the parking lot of her high school prom, she has to think fast. After all, she'd been telling her friends about him for months now. This was supposed to be the night she proved he existed. So when she sees a cute guy waiting to pick up his sister, she enlists his help. The task is simple: be her fill-in boyfriend—two hours, zero commitment, a few white lies. After that, she can win back the real Bradley.
The problem is that days after prom, it's not the real Bradley she's thinking about, but the stand-in. The one whose name she doesn't even know. But tracking him down doesn't mean they're done faking a relationship. Gia owes him a favor and his sister intends to see that he collects: his ex-girlfriend's graduation party—three hours, zero commitment, a few white lies.
Just when Gia begins to wonder if she could turn her fake boyfriend into a real one, Bradley comes waltzing back into her life, exposing her lie, and threatening to destroy her friendships and her new-found relationship.

I downloaded the sample of this and loved it so much I bought the whole thing.
It starts off with Gia standing outside her high school just about to go to her prom, when her college boyfriend Bradley dumps her.
In steps Hayden who has witnessed the scene from his car. He saves the night by pretending to be Bradley so Gia's friends don't mock her and from there develops a wonderful story.
I loved how likeable the characters were and how well they progressed through the story. Gia starts off as very superficial but begins to see how empty her life has been through meeting new friends.
Hayden is a great book boyfriend and you fall instantly in love with his gentleman manners and how he treats his sister and Gia, even as friends.
You have a villain in Jules, she wants to take Gia's friends from her and will do just about anything to sabotage her friendships and relationships. As much as I disliked her, I felt she also had a story to her as well that we didn't get to fully see.
I felt the book was a bit on the short side but it fitted the story just perfectly. None of it seemed rushed or over stretched.
One character i fell instantly in love with was Bec, Haydens younger and very over-protective sister. A companion novel showing her story would definitely be something I would pick up.
Over all i really loved this book and couldn't put it down. I would really like to see Hayden and Gia's relationship progress and I do feel there is more to be told for them. With Gia and Hayden going off to college, her relationship with her friends not quite yet mended, i think there is plenty of potential for sequel!
